# Clarista

## What Clarista does, in plain words

AI writes your code. AI reads your data. Clarista makes both safe.

Check. Connect. Prove:
1. Check the code: SAST (Semgrep), dependency scanning (Trivy), secret detection (GitLeaks) on every build. Critical findings block the deploy.
2. Connect the data: a governed MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP-compatible AI read company data through one controlled door. Queries run against the data model and business definitions, access is logged, lineage is mapped, PII is masked or blocked before it reaches the model.
3. Prove it: every scan, change, and AI data access becomes evidence mapped to SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and NIST controls. One-click auditor export.

Where apps run: the customer's own AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (BYOC), with the customer's SSO (Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace) and the customer's LLM keys (BYOK). Logs stream to the customer's SIEM (Splunk, Datadog).

Clarista does not manage AI agents. It governs what comes out of AI tools and agents: the code, the app changes, and the data they touch.

No tool alone makes a company compliant. Clarista generates application-layer evidence that supports SOC 2, HIPAA, and NIST compliance programs; certification depends on the full environment.
